La Cantina have taken their family’s traditional Italian
recipes, culinary ethos, and cooking techniques, and then added the finest

centuries-old Italian recipe using a ‘lievito madre’ natural yeast culture and
fired in a stone oven for pizzas that taste as authentically Neapolitan as they
come. Using the best of what Jersey has to offer they also make a range of
delicacies including, homemade Italian
style sausages using locally grown pork and seasonal foraged offerings, such as
‘gnocchi all'ortica’ stinging nettle gnocchi and local scallops with wild
garlic.
Along with the restaurant’s extensive menu, the blackboard
specials feature whatever’s in season, from locally caught seafood to Jersey
raised meats, foraged herbs and exclusive Italian finds that they import weekly

ingredients. And while La Cantina keeps things ‘old school’ in the
kitchen, the restaurant is bringing Italian food right up to date with a fresh whole-wheat
